If you are insured with EOPYY then you are entitled to a subsidy for the purchase of eyeglasses.
The amount reimbursed by EOPYY is up to € 100 with the basic condition that you have not received this compensation in the last 4 years. For children up to 12 years old, the fund provides eyeglasses every 2 years.
The compensation is collected by the consumer by submitting the necessary supporting documents at https://eopyy.gov.gr/. The supporting documents required for the collection of the compensation are:
1. Opinion of EKPY benefits from the ophthalmologist.
2. Retail sales receipt that clearly states the name of the insured and the eyeglasses from the store that will supply the glasses.
3. Certificate of the responsible optician.
4. Photocopy of IBAN account with the beneficiary consumer to file the compensation.
Otticacenter.gr is contracted with EOPYY and provides all legal documents for the issuance of eyeglasses.
